I haven't done it since I mostly own higher end products (my TM is 25 dollars and my concealer is 24 dollars) and I don't want to spend 20$ on makeup I know won't work for me, so it's pretty pointless, hah. But I do like watching the challenges.

Wet N wild has some mascaras for $3 that are decent considering the price! But I do agree, some of the drugstore brands product are starting to average $10 =[

Total cost of products used is less than $20? Do tools like lash curlers and brushes count against it?

I agree with Terra; this seems pretty difficult. A $50 challenge (not counting tools and brushes) would be somewhat more reasonable, IMO.

You can find real cheap lash curlers and brushes at the dollar store as well as eye liner ... I would go there for this challenge then to a drugstore.
