I would worry more about it burning you than breaking you out, what kind of aha is it glycolic,lactic,citric or a mix? 8% is high if your just starting out an it is like a light chemical peel and some skin types can not tolereate acids at all.

Just do a patch test on your skin before use an do not go out without sunblock AHA's make you sun sensitive an you can get hyperpigmentation easily.

Ok glycolic acid is strong its going to tingle don't start using this if your going to be in the pool or tanning an only use this at night put a little on a cotton ball an swipe your jawline to make sure its not to strong for you if not after you clean your face you wipe it all over your face you don't have to soak the cotton ball and use the least amount around your mouth an corners of your nose let it dry then put on a night cream an please use spf 30 everyday hun.And just start using this 3 times a week this is your exfoliating so dont use anything else no scrubs you can still do a mask once a week if u like i no it might say use everyday but you wanna get your skin use to it

Oh one more thing do I have to be extra careful about being in the sun while I have it on or all the time if I start using it. bec thinking if using it at night only. sun blocks break me out like crazy

Yes if your not using spf you shouldnt use it even if you only use it at night have you tried using a bb cream with spf or one for babies?

Well you don't wanna get dark spots on your face an thats what happens when you don't use a spf I think if you use the one for babies you will be ok you only need alittle.
