I just went to the lake and pool and my face is getting really dry. I would put lotion on it but everything stings!! This is about the 5th time it has happened and the other times I used this after sun lotion thing that was REALLY old and I can't find it ANYWHERE in stores. I have tried cetaphil lotion, aloe, and even scented lotions... (bad idea) and they all have stung really bad! Anf my face isn't sunburned btw, it's just REALLLLY dry and flaking.

Use jojoba oil or something natural! Don't use any harsh cleaners or anything on it until the pain subsides.

Put plain greek yogurt on your face. This will help take the sting away and will moisturise your skin.

Vaseline is nice but greasy. I use that on arms and legs but you have to be okay with the stickiness. Otherwise, coconut oils and something soothing like aloe.

You could try a cream for atopic skin. it has always helped me a lot. its not a drug so don't be afraid...
