My lips are constantly cracking and I have a hard time healing them let alone preventing cracking. Does anybody have any tricks or products they use to heal and prevent cracked lips.

I coat my lips heavily with vaseline at night before I get into bed n scrub it off with the towel in the morning. It takes off all the flaky skin and doesn't make them dry at all during the day. I've been doing this for many years. Also make sure to drink plenty of water.

Also along with lip balms, every night use a lip scrub. The one I used I made myself. All you need is equal parts of coconut oil and sugar along with a little drop of honey. You can also use oilve oil if you don't have coconut oil. :)

Yes Vaseline and maybe a simple lip scrub like brown sugar and olive oil and chapsticks like blistex and Carmex throughout the day.

A very easy way is when you brush your teeth in the morning to brush your lips too! get your toothbrush wet and shake the excess water off. scrub in small circler motions for about a min. then put on your best/strongest chapstick. do this in the a.m. and before bed. you will see a difference!!

Be careful when choosing a product, watch out for ones that are just waxy. Also there's a difference between ones that actually heal and moisturize, and ones that are just there to keep moisture in/block wind etc. Blistex medicated lip ointment works great for me (it comes out white so I usually use it a bunch just around the house) and aquaphor is pretty good at keeping them from drying out for a while after that (and its clear) hope this helps!
