My sister uses it in her hair and hers was just a little bit lighter than mine before she used it. now her hair is like bleach blond bc she constantly uses it. but it works right away, I would just use it though little by little. and then lighten it as you go.

Ommm...been there, done that. On dark hair you will come out looking like Carrot Top. Don't bother with it. Check out SheaMoisture Color line if you want some streaks in your hair...safer and no crazy off the wall results.

I wouldn't try it for naturally brown/black hair. I agree with the other girls, it will go orange. It works on my blonde hair and I never have to get it bleached as I love being blonde. If you are a darker blonde it will definitely work. I use John Frieda.
