How can you tell the true look of your make-up? I think I look great in my bathroom... if I go somewhere else, it never looks as intense or blended as I thought. it's like singing in the shower makes you think you need a record deal and bathroom lighting makes you look flawless. what's the deal?? lol.

Apply your makeup in natural light to make sure it looks good for you!

Natural lighting near the window shows how your make up truly is and sometimes in bathroom lighting it looks different.

The light in the bathroom is the worst. Especially if you have a dim light. I always open the curtains as much as possible and use the natural light

This is a great question, I too have problems with lighting & the only window I have is across the room:/

Best light is the sun.

Thanks! but the worst part is that the sunniest part of my house is in the living room and I'm not good enough to do makeup one handed while holding a mirror lol I could actually use another set of hands lol.

I used to do mine in the bathroom light, now I realize that it makes my skin look very different than in natural light. Find a window! ;)

Invest in a small vanity mirror, and set it up wherever there is the best natural light.

Natural lighting is best but if your going to be in an office all day do your makeup in the same lighting as the office. At least that's what my teacher told me!

I think natural light is best for applying makeup, and filming videos or taking pictures 💕

I think this is why anyone who applies makeup needs a vanity with a full spectrum bulb light source. The bathroom is filled with bacteria, the lighting is atrocious and it's very simple to set up a vanity, even if it's a little corner in your bedroom that you take down after your application.
