Growing up noone ever told me to wash my face so I strted getting acne at about 13. So now I'm 17 the acnes isnt as bad but I still have the scars. I wanna be able to walk around with flawless skin cause I don't like having to always wear concealer & foundation. Any suggestions to help me out? Thanks (:

There's these face washes that are said to reduce acne scars. Idk if they actually do that, but they're the 3-step Neutrogena ones.

Pure tea tree oil. I use the one from Thursday Plantation ($8 at walmart) and it faded my scars within days! So amazing!

Cut a lemon in half and put three or so drops honey on it. Rub it on your face and let it sit for 5 minutes. I did it a couple weeks ago and I didn't think it did much but my mom thought my skin looked much better. Even if it doesn't work, there is no harm in trying.

Pure tea tree oil, please try it. I have terrible scarring too and it's faded sooo much, even dried out and prevented breakouts! you seriously need to try it.

@Brianna You just apply it directly to the affected area. If you have sensitive skin then you can dilute it with water.

For homemade remedies, use lemon juice mixed with some water and apply it to the scars with a cotton pad. Another home-made remedy is green tea leaves (try leaving the tea bag in very hot water first) and mix with rice powder.
