Hair colour advice needed!

I have naturally dark brown hair but over the last 6 months I've lightened it to the colour pictured below through foils. I don't like the way my roots look when I part it any way different to the top half of the picture, and it looks terrible around the frame of my face where the foils are more noticeable. I'd like to dye my hair one colour, like the second picture I will attach next. My hairdresser thinks the regrowth will look worse but I think it will be easier to maintain! Advice please!

Do an ombré so roots won't be a problem but you can still have the light color (which looks fab on you btw) too.

You should do ombre.

Your roots will be a lot more noticable if you do the all over color because it is all over lighter then your natural.

Thanks for the suggestions guys ill talk to my hairdresser about going ombré :)
