Easy Nail Care?

My nails always get really dirty for some reason even though I always clean my hands.
Is there anything I can do to keep them clean?

I also always get those short peeling skin things under my nails that bleed sometimes.
Is a nutritional thing or is there something I can do to stop it?

I never have much time in the morning and I suck at doing my nails so if there are any quick and easy fixes for my nails i would love to know them :)
