So y'all may have seen my two hair posts of me freaking out lol.
So I did some research.
I'm thinking since my hair is permanently died blonde, and I already have about 1 inch roots (natural hair is brown so SUPER embarrassing). I'm going to grow my hair out, but I'm also going to find the shade closest to my hair color (in semi permanent dye) then I'm going to dye my hair with that BUT NOT MY ROOTS. Then, I'm going to do hair growth home remedies. Like olive oil, anyone have any others? Then once my natural hair is below my boob (weird description I know) I'm going to cut all the semi permanent dye out so that it's just my natural color(: I'm also going to slowly cut my blonde hair off. But, I look a lot better with long hair so not just quite yet lol. I know this will take many months of growing and semi permanent dying, but it's worth it to me! Does this sound like it will work?

Hi I'm a cosmetologist! I think youd be better off using a demi instead of a semi. and depending on the level of blonde you are you might need 2 different colors to fill the blonde in properly. talk to your stylist about it and they will help guide you towards what will be best for you and your hair. bleached hair also holds on to color stronger than natural hair so get a color at least one shade lighter too.

Hey Dina, what's a demi? Lol

There are four levels of hair color: permanent, demi, semi, and temporary. demi is one step below permanent but will last longer than semi.
