Right now I'm in Japan on a one woman vacay and I'm sooo tempted to buy makeup. I saw stuff from Bobbi Brown that isn't carried in the States. Same goes for a bunch of other lines too. Its 9pm here and I'm tempted beyond belief as my hotel has a beautiful makeup counter. Help!!

I'm trying not to buy. My goal is to make it to November. Everything is just so glossy and shiny. The department store cosmetic floor here makes the one's in the States look like dungeons. Absolutely beautiful...just makes it so freakin' hard. I want it all!!ol.

if so, just wait. but if this is type of trip isn't a constant thing. get a couple of "must haves" and just don't open them until your no buy is over. cause you have to keep using up your stash..

@Naomi..lol. My husband comes here on a regular so I guess I could give him a list. I'm sure the counter reps had a few laughs because I'm sure my eyes were bugging out. I'm truly a make up addict.

Yeah just sleep on it. Just think if it is really really worth it. Think of which colors/products you really could use. And in the end if you want it, buy it (as a souvenier like Alicia said) but maybe just hide it away until November? Ha ha... or yes... allow your husband to buy.. :)
