Soooo I want to ask someone who wants to be a Special Effect Make-Up Artist and Professional Make-Up Artist!
When you have a mind you'll going to be a Make-Up Artist, what's your plan to learn professional techniques or what did you do?
Actually my father don't wants for me to go hard way..
Of course I can understand because he already know Make-Up Artist is 3d job in my country and our movie market is narrow and inferior.
Anyway what I want to ask is how to learn to be a professional.
Go to college? Academy? Blogs with tutorials?
Just tell me and give me some advices😉

Well if it's your passion go for it sweets. When I was younger I never knew I could make a career out of being a makeup artist. I would highly recommend starting off in cosmetic retail to practice and get a hang of doing makeup and learning about different brands, brushes, and working with different faces like I did. You can also take makeup courses in a school that will help you with building your portfolio and starting your makeup kit. Watching tutorials is also a great way to educate yourself and learn new techniques. I then highly recommend using websites like Mandy.com or going to local colleges and offering free services to the students studying film. Also practice on friends and family as well as yourself. Good luck doll.

Check out universityofmakeup.com. It's pretty cheap and online and you get a certificate. Do it in your spare time and get discounts in the online store... Really easy. I'm doing it because I'm about to have a baby and don't want to be a waitress for the rest of my life and I would like to spend more time with my little one so freelance makeup artistry is what I fell into. Also check out YouTube videos!! I've been getting soooo many ideas from there and there are also videos on how to get started in the business!! Good luck and follow your dreams!! Dreams are powerful!! 😘
