2 bucks, free shipping. i own this set. you seriously can't go wrong. they are really well shipped, and arrive pretty quickly, considering it's coming from Hong Kong. they are really nice quality and easy to clean. they also come in a pouch so you can travel with them! :)

I purchased my set on ebay for less than 2 bucks but you can use the ends of a bobby pin to dot nail art.

thank you guys soooo much!!!

drug stores have them too sometimes.....the handle may be different.
You can also snip the tip off a q-tip & use the hard stick as a dotter....I have a million dotters & still find myself doing that sometimes.

Honestly, don't waste your money on them. Just use the end of a bobby pin, dull pencils, or anything else that's flat and round on the end. You probably have a lot of things you can use as dotting tools sitting right around your house.

I agree with Pam. I made one from a pencil and a paper clip. Works perfectly.

okay you really don't need to buy one you can just use household items. Gat a toothpick, dab some nail polish on it let it dry and there you have it a nail dotter. Oh and if you have any loose circle earrings stick on the end of a pencil. works perfectly!!!!!!!

Online from ebay!

* * * I made mine with a straight pin (plastic ball on top):
> I cut the pointy end of the pin off about half way up the metal
> Stick it in the end of a pencil (I chose a pencil that I was never going to use again because it was too short to sharpen and the eraser sucked)
>> I favor this method to buying one online basically because it is free. And it works wonderfully...also, different size pinheads make different size dotting tools.
> (I'm also kinda a 'handy man' type, so when I wanted a very small dot and didn't have the pin around the house I used a Dremel tool, which is a mall rotating sander or piece of sandpaper...and sanded a plastic pinhead down to my desired size.)
>> Even with all of this altering and personalizing of my tools... and unprofessional quality of my tools, I am extremely satisfied with their performance.

:: This picture was taken for one of my videos and features the first of my dotting tools, the unaltered one.

I wouldn't use a tooth pick because they can poke right through all your polish. I got mine at Salley

You can make a simple one with a pin (like for sewing) and a pencil. Stick the pin in the eraser of the pencil. It's simple and cheap if you have those things laying around your house.
