This is for my sister she has acne is extremely embarrassed, she's been prescribed pills but they don't work, has tried proactive it doesn't work. Has tried other products but nothing has seemed to make any difference. So does anyone have any products that they have used that actually work. Right now she has it on face neck and back.

Don't put makeup on the acne, and try not to irritate the skin with too much exfoliants or peroxide.

The most probable that is needs contraceptives pills with anti angrogen effect because this is the only real reason of acne. I know you've asked another question, but using products which just make acne less visible doesn't mean treating the disease itself. It may took even 1 year or more to treat skin problems.

Have you tried tea tree oil? I used to use it on my pimples as a teen and it did wonders. It's completely natural too.

I will link you a website filled with natural cures and recipes. I follow most and my face is very clear. Just make sure she follows the recipes that use strawberry and tomato the most since they are high in salicylic acid.

I'm a natural skin care junkie and my family has a garden so it's convenient. I had a case of acne that appeared almost Cystic ( never got diagnosed ) and it was really bad. Ever since I went natural my skin is free of everything, a pimple won't even last a day.

Tried going to site but nothing came up, its possibly my phone lol @ mairead lol yea, another reason is she already Moody as it is and thinks doesn't want ppl to not want to be around her if it makes her worse. how exactly do you use tea tree oil on skin, use it as a spot treatment? What if she wants it for a larger area like her neck or chest.

O ok. She was recommended a Mexican soap that said to help but have no clue what it called.

Tea tree oil is strong and will dry out her skin. She should use these to wash her skin:
Sulfate bar
Baking Soda
Oatmeal
To moisturizer she can whip coconut oil ( it will whip into a cream. However it is temperature sensitive so If you live somewhere hot it will melt. To that cream she can add about 10 drops of tea tree oil.
For a toner she should mix half apple cider vinegar, the organic brand. With green tea, tea tree, lavender, and vitamin e.
For masks make sure she focuses on straw berry and tomatoes like I said.
You should tell her to google that website it has so much recipes and so much information about treating your skin.
Also she should eat a healthy diet if she's that desperate for it to leave. Green tea is very beneficial for the skin. As a scrub she can either squeeze lemon just, soak a cotton pad in it and scrub with some brown sugar or use brown sugar, honey and a bit of olive oil.
