I'm looking to purchase a new set of hair extensions.
I currently wear Bellami clipin extensions (22" really thick set- I think 220 grams- in off black)
While I love my Bellamis, they have shed really badly, seemed to have "shortened" up (not as long as they used to be) and have bad split ends. I'm sure this is due in part to my less than stellar care (dyed twice, sometimes sleep in them, etc...) But I've only had them since April and their lifespan is completely up, which really upsets me.
I'm really interested in Foxy Locks extensions. They're about $30 cheaper than what I paid for Bellamis, except I've seen very mixed reviews about Foxy Locks. Some say they're amazing, some say not to even waste your time looking at the website because the hair is just pure trash. Yes, trash.
Just wondering if anyone has used Foxy Locks and can offer some guidance, or has any other brands they'd like to suggest. Thank you :-)

I bought a set from Foxylocks.com, the thickest they had. I got it in a pale blonde color so I could dye them, they held up pretty well after being colored 5 times. The hair was gorgeous and silky, definitely worth my money, and lasted about a year. They probably would have lasted longer if I wouldnt have dyed them so much,lol. I could go on for days, but the bottom line is that I totally think you should try a set out. I adored their extensions.

You're tempting me! That's amazing that they held up being dyed so many times. I've ombre'd my Bellami's twice and the amount of split ends is ridiculous. I've heard a couple reviews that there are synthetic pieces in Foxy Locks extensions that won't hold heat, or get really funky when you wash them. Would you say that? I'm just really worried because I'm about to drop $200.

I absolutely loved mine until they started tangling and had to be retired. Synthetic pieces? As far as I could tell, every strand handled heat and washing perfectly fine. Haha, I dropped around that too. Sooooooo worth it. (;
