So she has been getting blemishes already, she washes her face twice a day and its still not helping. What would be a good face wash thats not too hard for her skin? Please if you can help it would be great.

I'd say go to a dr. thats quite early for spots so it could be some kind of imbalance.

Thank you Pam I thought the same so I took her to the dr she just went last week and it's blemishes. I just think going to a dermatologist is way too much for her age I want to try other things before that.

My 13 year old started breaking out at 10 as well. I had to get her off the dairy at home (at school its kinda hard to police her diet) and amp up on her water intake. She gets ocassional break outs now but its not as bad as what it was when she turned 10. Don't bother with a dermo because they are only going to suggest drugstore products and then you're out of $$$ for a five minute visit. Definitely look into her diet (dairy, sugar are fuel for acne) and investigate spot treatments that can be found at the drugstore.

Bc of her age and skin sensitivity definatly try dove bar soap. It works so well with breakouts and it won't dry her skin

You can see a derm for the price of a dinner out. 10 is young for breakouts and there could be an underlying sickness or allergy.

I agree with Shelly! Again! My son got weird teenage looking acne on his cheeks from soy products. It cleared up within a week of cutting the food. Ten just seems so young to be getting blemishes. Poor gal!

A lot of kids do have food alergies and do breakout from that they also can start having acne there not to young when there adrenal glads awakens you will find they can have the same skin issues as a teenager all children are different the adrenal gland awakens at diffferent ages can start at 9 or ten years of age and you just want to use gentle products like cetaphil and the should be using spf also.

Thank you all um I do know it is not a skin allergy or sickness or anything like that. she is not too young to be starting to get blemishes because her hormones are very progressed fast she's already started her monthly cycle. I just wanted to know if there was any products that I couldn't think of that is good for sensitive skin because I know what her age I don't want to use acne soaps cause its harsh for the skin. I talk to an esthetician and she gave me some soaps that would probably work great. thank you all.
