So I started on my quest to grow my hair faster a month ago.. this is what I learned.....
1. You can't actually make your hair grow faster ( or thicker ). It's not a car that you can fuel and just hit the gas on.
2. Research is the key. Plus, you can catch your hair dresser in his/her lies. ( I understand you're trying to make ends meet, but destroying my hair and false information to your clients is just- bleck. )
3. A trichologist ( A person who studies hair and scalp ) advised me that though genetics, your hair is meant to grow a certain length until it falls off.
However you can...
1. Use treatments and massage your scalp. This will promote hair growth. You can flip your head upside down to help blood flow to your scalp. Stay away from heat and harsh hair products. That includes gel, hairspray, and anti-frizz serums that are not natural. ( You know, Argan Oil is great. But that little bottle with nothing but chemicals will work like a diet pill. Make you slim now- then make your hair 3 times it size later.. And you don't need that. )
2. Eat healthy, seriously, stop your junk food habits. Not only will your skin improve, your weight will go down, but your hair will become healthier.
3. Exercise. Not because I believe everyone should exercise, but because blood will flow to your head. And that's what you need.
4. Take your vitamins through fruits and veggies, not a pill. Most people think a pill will make your hair grow, and many believe that biotins makes hair grow. I am not a doctor, so if it's required for you to take vitamins due to a deficiency or illness.. by all means do it. But back to Biotin... Biotin is for a biotin deficiency or related illness. And, you get sufficient Biotin intake from food. If you decide to ignore this, at least do yourself a favor and ask a doctor.
These are my results after a month. I followed all the above.
* I currently do not use product in my hair, and haven't for about 3 years. I do not use product to style it either. *
