So whenever I put on lipstick, I always moisturize before I put it on. but a few minutes later my lips are cracked and dry and the color is splochy. how can I prevent this?

Make sure your lips are exfoliated so all the dead skin is off then moisturize, it may also be the lipstick you use it all depends

Right after you put on your moisturizer do the rest I your makeup put on another coat then blot it lightly so it's still moisturizing but not creamy, then put on your lipstick, blot, lipstick again I do the bolting thing two three times.

I exfoliate using the bristles on my toothbrush, then moisturize, and then put in the lipstick.
