You could just blow hot air from your blow dryer on it and voila it's heated! Free too!

I've heard they are a little unsafe if you pinch the skin of your eyelid. If your curler is good enough I would imagine you wouldn't need to heat it.

The Sally Hansen one from Walmart works really well I have super stick straight lashes but they're so long and thick ): it's a Shame they point almost DOWNWARDS!! Lol sorry I just hate that they do that.
