I used to never have this problem, but now they are always try, even if I use vaseline, nothing works.. I tend to lick my lips like every 5mins its a habit.. is that something to do with it?

Yes the licking has a lot to do with it, saliva drys out your lips more than before you wet them. But I have the same habit and I use Blistex Medicated Mint. It helps a lot with the dryness and stays on for a long time :) And the taste might help cut back the licking lol :) I hope this helps you some! Xxx

Yes. Licking your lips can dry them out very much. Get a bit of brown sugar with honey and using a tooth brush gently scrub. Then apply some Medicated lip balm or Carmex lip balm. Avoid licking your lips, especially when it's cold!

Licking your lips makes them worse because then the wetness dries up along with you skin. I have this problem because it is getting colder and nothing worked. Buy Blistex Medicated Lip Balm near the check out at a drugstore. Its working really well for me.

Yess exfoliate the lips to get rid of dry bits of skin. This will let the products you put on to absorb better. Shea butter, beeswax and honey are great for this! Try getting a moisturizing tinted lip balm or lip butter in place of lipsticks. And drink water! :)

Try using the Hydro Care lip balm/butter from Nivea. It works!
