A good condition treatment would be good for your hair and wash with warm water not hot because your scalp is OCs sensitive to hot and then keep condition in for 5-10 mins hun.

La ROCHE POSAY is great dermatologist cosmetics for sensitive skin. They have also shampoos. There is one called Kerium - physiologic and extra gentle shampoo. Check it out! You can be sensitive for some substance in normal shampoo if your skin is after application very dry or painful. Products from this brand are all paraben-free, and few other-free too. I highly recommend this brand for people with sensitive or allergic skin :)

Aveda beautifying oil, or all sensitive oil or anything with tea tree should help, also giving yourself scalp massages with a paddle brush or your fingers!

My scalp is also very sensitive. Try and do a scalp massage with olive or almond oil once in a while as people have suggested.
Also look for sulfate free or even all natural shampoos because normal ones (even the ones that say they are for sensitive scalp) tend to be way too drying.
If you still feel like it's too drying research co-washing method online (which is basically washing your hair with conditioners) :)

Haha yes just coconut oil. Its edible as well so you can find it at some grocery stores. I make sure I get the cold pressed and virgin or extra virgin kind just because its better I guess lol. It will probably be ina solid form in cooler temperatures but as soon as it reaches your hands, it starts to melt and becomes liquid right away. I use it as a lip balm and a face moisturizer every night.

And I definitely also put it on toasts and replace butters and oils with coconut oil. imo it tastes, feels, snells and does amazing things.

Try shampoos and conditioners by Shea Moisture. All natural and organic ingredients. It's marketed towards African American hair but I use it also because it is just so good.
