Okay so I've litteraly always been that girl who has never had a pimple in her life and everyone always said how amazing my skin was...well you can stop hating me now...one day I just woke up with acne! Like three weeks ago :( and I'm 23 I feel like that's a weird age to get acne? I have it on both cheeks like little clusters and I need to no why this is happening out of no where and how can I fix it!! please help.

Okay, it's so weird this started happening to me I swear it's evil eye looool. Damn. Okay, go to your doctor get them to either put you on the pill which would help or this antibiotic called lymacicline sorry I can't spell it but it also has the name tetralysal. This really helped me to completely eradicate them. There are loads of short term remedies, I will try find you some good ones xx

It could be a lot of different things.. If the breakouts are on your chin and jawline, it could be hormonal; birth control can help even out your levels. If they are only on your cheeks, it could be from touching your face often, from not disinfecting your cell phone regularly, not cleaning your makeup brushes often... Your body changes a lot in your 20's, acne is not only for teenagers unfortunately!

Acne is hormonal. use all the yoghurt you like. help the appearance maybe. usually if it is severe and comes ariund very quickly you could see a dermatologist. asking advice here for medical advice might just make it worse.

It does happen to people that they never had a pimple in their teen ages. Than suddenly they have it in their 20's. My friends mother and eldest daughter had the same problem. So don't panic, and it was in your jeans/DNA to have acne now instead of then. Though I would recommend seeing a Dermatologist.

Same! I'm 24 and only just recently started to get them bumps around my chin, forehead and sometimes on the cheek. I guess it could be hormonal. But I do try and keep my brushes clean, makeup sanitized, and pillow cases changed often. A good diet always helps, too. Hope your face clears up soon!

Go get a facial and see what they say! I'm an esthetician and I deal with this all the time trust me estheticians care way more then dermatologists. It could be something your using or not using that is causing this I would just go get a facial and talk to them about it during the skin analysis and get some professional advice from someone who can actually see what your talking about. Like tiia said doing some of these recommendations can make it worse. I help people everyday with there skin and have found women that actually caused acne by some of the products they were using. Go to a professional to get the best results.

Evening primrose oil is a natural way to clear the skin and balance out hormones. Try dr Andrew weil for origins, I use it a lot on my acne prone clients and it can help transform your skin. It's specifically for sensitive skin or skin that needs extra care so it's very gentle.
