I must admit, this question made me giggle. First you have to understand that hipster isn't a style. It's a slang term for people above the norm/ not mainstream/alternative. Hell, 'emo' would be considered hipster aswell till that sort of became it's own trend. Making 'hipster' clothing a trend is just an oxymoron, and it sounds rather silly doesn't it? Though somehow it became a trend anyways, which I will say is more indie then anything. So maybe that's the word you're looking for. Now, as for actually useful information, you can literally find it anywhere. Thrift shops will give you some great finds for super cheap, and they will have that vintage feel you like. I always stop at a thrift shop before heading to the mall, just in case (nothing's worse than buying a pair of boots for $120 and finding the exact ones later that day for $5- yes, personal experience) Now, other than that, you can literally find 'hipster' clothes everywhere. Now that it's in style, every store wants to hop on the bandwagon- why wouldn't they, it sells! Some great examples are, Forever 21, American apparel, Zara, Delia's, Joyce Leslie, love culture, brandy Melville etc.etc. Basically any clothing store catering to teenage girls. Even more adult stores are leaning towards it, I've noticed some trends at guess, BEBE, Marciano (unfortunately, of course my favorite store would get taken over :( ) etc.
So just go to a mall and go nuts!
