Personally, I don't think those boots go well with the dress. I agree with @Amor h. a cardigan & wedges or sandals would look good & be more casual for a normal day.

If you want it to be more casual, wear ankle boots/combat boots instead of heels. other than that, the outfit is great girls at my school wear things like this all the time even on ordinary days.

Wow, thanks for all the replies!! Brenda, I love you're comment, that's so true. It's a little too chilly to wear sandals or wedges around here, but combat boots sound wonderful!
