With tags like "What poducts you would cry about if discontinued", it got me thinking about discontinued products that people thought were actually good. Honestly, I do not know why some cosmetic companies discontinue products people raved about. I recently bought Maybelline Pure Makeup online and actually upset that it's discontinued as it received fairly good reviews. Just curious to know what discontinued products you wish they would bring back. -J

They changed the formula of my favorite eyeliner (Maybelline Expert Wear) and I was very very mad at them. The new formula sucks compared the old formula.

bath and body works discontinued a sent..it was called pearberry ive been trying to track down the few bottles left, ive actually went on ebay searching for this sent :(

Got2be made a chocolate body butter that was unreal! When I found out it was discontinued I bought 10 tubs online. I sadly ran out last year.
Worse is when they change things. Body shop Vanilla Spice used to be one of my favorite scents, but they "new & improved" it last year. I can't stand it now!

NYX had this amazingly pigmented shadow trio - TS-07 but it's now discontinued. All the three shades were extremely buttery, pigmented and just all in all, applied and wore like a dream. And that was the first ever eyeshadow palette/eyeshadow I ever purchased so the twinges of nostalgia are hitting hard :D

I hated that Lush discontinued Skinny Dip shower gel way back in 2005. I loved it. They later turned it into a buttercream, but it's not available in North America. :(
I also hated that MAC discontinued Studio Sculpt Concealer earlier this year. I love it as an all-around concealer. (Fortunately, in this case, I was able to secure a couple of backups!)
Bath and Body Works had an aromatherapy rollerball thingie for people with various concerns, including one for migraines (I don't suffer from them regularly, but I do get them from time to time). Discontinued a couple of years ago. I thought it was a fantastic product. It actually worked!

Companies discontinue products that they don't profit from, they get records back from where the products are sold & see how much was sold, and if its not enough, they don't waste their time & money making it anymore. Sometimes, there are products we love that other people don't which makes it not in high demand. I've had a favorite lipstick from Benefit that got discontinued, so sad, i must have finished 20 tubes, when i went to try & buy a new one, it was gone.
