How to get eye liner to stay on throughout the day?

I just started wearing eye liner and I realized it wears off so fast! (With in three hours!) How do you get most of it to stay on throughout the day?

What type do you use? Gel is the best, but you should set it with translucent powder or black eyeshadow.

If you use gel or liquid putting a black/brown powder over it will help it stay.

If you use kohl liners I'd recommend using a primer. If you use a gel try smudging it slightly to help the skin hold onto it.

Pencil is supposed to rub off easily. Try Rimmel Waterproof Kohl eyeliner or I recommend trying a liquid eyeliner. Try L'Oreal Infallible Felt Tip Eyeliner.

Try gel liners. You can make it as natural or bold as you want when paired with a nice thin angled eyeliner brush. I have the essence black gel liner and their eyeliner brush as well. Even after teying maybellibe, wet n wild, physiciabs formula and bobbi bfown gel liners, I always go back to this one. The most creamiest, waterproof, smudge proof, does not budge at all, super pigmebted eyeliner I jave.
