I would start a YouTube channel. Melphs does that and she said as some side comments she has done like homecoming, prom, and wedding makeup. I would start like that. It is going to take you a long time to be like her since your so young. That's just a idea.

Go to a well known beauty school! Make sure to enroll in makeup courses, as most beauty schools will focus on hair/nails instead. If you want to be a makeup artist, you must have your certificate. Start by working at makeup counters and free lancing! Create a good portfolio of your work. If you want to work for celebrities, join an agency where an agent will find you jobs for celebrities, runway shows, and photo shoots! Shoot for the stars and never give up! A makeup career can be incredibly tough and there is periods of time where you could have no jobs. Stick with it and the rewards will follow if you push hard enough.

Hi! Well first I wanted to say you are really lucky in finding what you love to do so early on. If you really want to do well in the future, I would start researching great makeup artists and looking into schools or classes you can take in the future. There are some great makeup books you can pick up by Kevin Aucoin and Bobbi Brown. You'll learn about the tools of the trade and some tricks for applying flawless makeup. Kevin Aucoin's books will also show you how makeup transformations are done. Another tip I have is figuring out if you want to be a cosmetologist (someone who does hair, makeup, and nails) or a Make Up Artist (main focus in on Makeup), in some states, you may have to go for your cosmetology license to become a makeup artist. Anyway, I hope this helped and I wish you all the best in your future!
