My baby's hair is similar.. but the back isn't as long as the top and front. so I put the shorter hair in a ponytail n different ponytail styles thru the rest.
two in the top and one in the front (like a bang) works good for her head shape.
but I use ribbons. (rubberband first)
or flower barretts.
