I was going to start making videos again on my youtube channel but i only have a built in webcam on my laptop. Im afraid thats not good enough but right now thats all i have. Any one have any tips and tricks to successfully making a good tutorial using one?

Girl my quality looks like shit and I barely get views I highly recommend you wait and invest in something better because I wish I would have waited first impressions are the best. Although you could still work with what you have I suggest a flashy background and really good lighting to outweigh the bad

And explain that to your viewers too. Let them know you love what you do and you are just working with what you have. They dont like it? Tell them to watch Michelle phan lol

Some laptop cameras are horrible and some are good...so it's hard to say. Might be able to give you a better answer if you posted a picture of yourself taken with the webcam in the best lighting possible. :)

I would say save for an awesome camera then do the tutorials, when I started out I used my webcam and it was horrible I was barely getting views. Like Sidnee said some are horrible and some are good so, if your webcam is good I say use it.

I use my MacBook Pro webcam, the lighting definitely helps, now will it be high definition? No... So you have to decide what you want to offer your viewers <3
