I use the bare nails because they look better than my natural nails ever could. They're very easy to trim down and shape to your desire, and they make putting polish on effortless. Nail polish actually stays on longer, with no chips. I just hate that sometimes they fall off. But other than that, I love them! I'd like to try the salon acrylic kit but I don't know how if I could trust myself to do it right. The press-on bare nails are just easier IMO.
