I have really dry flaky skin especially around my mouth area. Its also the most sensitive part of my face, I can never go a day without it getting pink or red but it doesn't hurt. I use the cetaphil cleanser for normal to dry skin following with the aveeno cooling menthol moisturizer and cetaphil daily advanced moisturizer. Still its not enough to stop my skin from being soo flaky, that I can't put any bb cream or foundation on it. How do I gently remove all or most if the dead skin?

I would suggest a super gentle face scrub, or a brush like a Clarisonic. Also, use a deeper moisturizer there, like Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream, or a really good lip balm.

I know there's so many things our there to help with my issue but I'm still really young, I have a tight budget :/ Are there any things you recommend that are not as expensive as a clarisonic? Thank you Hannah, I appreciate your advice. :)

Like I said, a gentle scrub would work, as well, and some thick lotion or chapstick. I'm not sure what scrubs to try though because I do have a Clarisonic and it exfoliates my skin so I don't need a scrub. I'm so sorry I couldn't be more help girl!

If you have an alcohol free toner, dent a cotton pad with it and the place on you dry areas. Leave it there for a while like a face mask and then slowly gently rub that area, should be some dead skin coming off then pad more toner on that area wait until it's almost dried put on a moisturiser :) hope that helps. If you are looking for a gentle scrub, neutrogena has some good daily ones they are quite gentle x

Pure coco butter or Vaseline. Vaseline has a tiny lip treatment sold in a tiny jar for a dollar and pure coco butter comes in a small jar or stick for around $7. You can purchase both at Walgreens and Wal-Mart. (:
