I Have Bad Acne, Dry Skin And I Get Red Super Easily. I Feel Really Self Conscious. I Want to Start Wearing Foundation, Concealer and Powder But I Don't Know Which One To Use- I'm Very Pale (until I go red) And my School Doesn't Allow Make-up. So Which Brand Would You Suggest? Thanks :)

So does my school but no one cares lol. Foundation and powder is okay I guess. They won't realize you are wearing makeup if you do it right. For the most natural finish, use beauty blender ;) I'm sorry I can't help with the foundation part because I have oily skin.

Miranda then I suggest clinique c.c I use it and it covers my acne and its sooo light weight. I work in the medical field so make up doesn't really look good if you're there helping patients who are in need.. well that's my opinion at least. anyhow c.c is a corrector as well and it helps with spots. if anything also under the c.c get the cover fx primer anti acne. and helps the c.c last longer. you can always get samples at sephora and see how it works for you. also many people have said proactiv has not worked for them. I am 26 years and I have had acne since I was about 6th grade. and proactiv + the new one has done wonders and miracles to my face. there's a lot that causes acne but I also read online dairy products may cause acne I have not eliminated it completely from my diet but definitely put some thoughts into my head.

Of your face is red its probably irrataed, so try to stay away from scrubs and any facial cleansers containing alcohol (because alcohol is very drying)

Do not use concealer or anything on your skin if it's broke out! That is a HUGE mistake, and it will cause it to get worse. I personally know exactly how you feel. I was so embarrassed and self conscious. Then I got proactiv, and most of my acne and all was gone within a month! It's so worth it if you keep up with it and wash in the morning and evening. They also have their own make-up line for sensitive skin that won't irritate your acne, which I use, and it works great. I can be concealed without aggravating my skin. :) x

Ponds dry skin cream is a life saver for people with dry skin. I use a mix between skin care oils, dermalogica and ponds. Switching between those lines/ products keeps my skin nice. I also use dermatologist prescribed treatments for my acne. For makeup I stick with physicians formula and Clinique sometimes manic panic if I become paler than normal. With a really good moisturizer you shouldn't have to worry as much about makeup looking obvious no matter if it is powder or liquid.
