There are many techniques to use for protective styles my fav. one to use is croshe styles useong free tress bohemian braid hair! the hair has a deep curl pattern to it. make sure be for you put in your protective style you

1. Wahs your hair
2. Use a deep conditioning
3. Cut split ends
4. Make sure oil your parts very good

when I use this protective style I used a dry shampoo to keep my hair clean n fresh while I wore the stlye
As long as you keep up the hair style it can last as long as 2 months! and before you know it your will be rapidly growing.

things you need :

1. you will need 3 packs of hair
for a short style and 5 packs for long style

2. you will need a croshae needle

3. combs, hair pins, and rubber bands,

This looks like my hair except a lot shorter! I think it looks great! I haven't been able to decipher easy protective styles. I know there are buns and braids but beyond that I'm still confused.
