Views on people posting looks that don't belong to them?

I've been seeing profiles pop up lately of people postings looks on that do not belong to them. I don't know why but this bugs me. I feel like in this beauty community we're all about coming together and showing our skills to one another hoping to gain experience from what we see from fellow artists, and someone reposting someone else's photo just isn't right. Especially when they don't credit the original artist. I think maybe, if there was credit given where it is deserved it would be completely ok, but most of the time there is no credit given. What do you think? Is reposting pictures that don't belong to you ok? Should it be allowed if there is no credit given?
