Hey ladies. So I've been suffering from a lot of anxiety and depression lately which has caused my hair to fall out more than usual and has made it thinner. Do yall know ways how I can make my hair thicker? or good products for it? Thanks in advance! (:

Hair grows from the inside out! Drink lots of water and eat healthy foods such as lean meat for protein and veggies for vitamins.
Hair is also waste, so exercising regularly helps push it out of your body. Use sulfate free shampoos/conditioners as sulfates are quite harsh and can dry your scalp and hair. Also, limit use of heat tools. I stopped blow drying my hair when it felt thin and brittle and its very thick and healthy now :)
Hope this helps!

Hey Liz, sry to hear your going thru this. I've actually suffered from the same thing and actually lost so much hair I had a bald spot. My father went thru the same thing. Honestly the only way my hair grew back was after my anxiety and depression ceased. So I would focus on working on your emotions first. Because your body has a physical response to your emotions. The first step is working on the psychological aspect. I hope everything gets better for.
P.S. I have a BA psychology/mental health. And I have personal experience with the same issues as you. So, I understand how you feel. Once again, I hope things get better!

Hey Liz, I hope you overcome it soon. I know how hard it can be since I went through anxiety and depression too and still battle anxiety and ocd. hang in there gorgeous :) I agree with Megan and Vickie. However I think mustard oil application for two hours before each shower could do wonders. it has prevented my hair from falling too much and also made it softer and silkier and adds a bit more volume after a week or so of using it. good luck. hope this helped xo.

First of all, try to lead a less stressed life, sleep 8 hours each night and stay hydrated. Then do a hydrating treatment once a week with coconut oil, almond oil or argan oil to moisturize your hair and make it healthy. Castor oil works for growth. And make sure to maintain the health and moisture of your hair using hydrating hair masks, like the Moroccan argan oil hair mask from the Pro Naturals hair repair system, it really helps.
