Mac fluidline vs Maybelline gel liner?

I've tried the Maybelline one and am thinking of buying the mac gel liner. How do they compare? is it worth it?

A gel liner is always great to have in your collection, the only downside is they do dry up quickly and you may need (depending on how much you use it) buy more. I find both brands work really well. If you want a liner that's virtually smudge proof go with mac. However I don't know if it's just me but I find the maybelline to have been more pigmented than Mac. I go through gel liners a lot and I use to love Macs but my holy grail now is illamasqua's. I hope I could help you out :)

I had both (My Mac just finished) and can honestly say I won't be buying the Mac one again. Not because it isn't good, it is, but I find the Maybelline one to perform just a as well, and at a cheaper price. Why pay more if a cheaper one performs just as well?? This is one products, I feel, where the more expensive one does not necessarily mean better to me.
