I've tried working for stores but honestly I can't be excited about it and I don't wanna be that person that's unhappy with my job. I want a job involving makeup. Anybody got any tips? Sephora or anything really.

What do you like most about makeup? being an artist? teaching/helping people? selling/managing?

Just start applying! Sephora, Ulta, MAC, and department store makeup counters are always hiring new unique talents! They usually require you to be 18 and rarely require that you have a makeup artist license. You just need to have some skill and passion, and once you start the job they teach you so many things. Not to mention the perks of a makeup job! While working at makeup stores you get huge discounts and free products!
If working in a store isn't your thing, try freelancing. Create a portfolio of makeup you've done. Post ads on Craigslist. Create a website showing your work and that you are avaliable for hire.
The makeup world is so hard to get into, it is fast paced and always changing, but it is amazing. There is absolutely nothing like it.
Best of luck xx.

If you're able, try and get a college degree. Even an associates degree will help you no matter what area of makeup you go into (accounting and business techniques help for freelancing, and a degree can boost your chances of a promotion to management in retail). It can really help you build a foundation for your career. Not to mention you can partner with others on campus for portfolio work (student films, photography students, student fashion shows, even formal events for clubs/Greeks).
