What size curling wand?

Crazy but I've went well over a year without heat styling my hair. I really want to pick up a curling iron or wand to switch it up.
What size would you say is best for loose curls?

1 1/2 would be best for loose curls, but you can also hold the hair on longer for tighter curls, so it's pretty versatile. Just remember that the smaller the barrel, the tighter the curl :)
