I would say liquid but you have learn how to apply it properly.I recommend maybelline.

There these kinds that are really popular lately I don't actually know what it's called but it in tubes and you twist it up. The texture makes it sooooo easy to apply because it some where between a pencil and gel but not as dry as a pencil and not as messy as a gel. I've tried both high end and drugstore. A good high end that you can get at sephora is the NARS larger than life. And the drugstore one is by neutrogena, Neutrogena Nourishing Eyeliner. Their both actually really good and you can the same results with both. But pp

NARS as a better color play off so your good with like one swipe while the drugstore one, you'll have to run over it a couple times and press a little harder. But that's actually if you want color that's build-able.

Get the loreal superslim liner at ulta!! It's liquid and so easy to use!!
