I don't think that is good for your hair. You should only wash your hair three to four times a week! And cold water generally seals in moisture, hot water can give you heat damage believe it or not!

It's good to wash your hair once a week depends like if you put gel or not cuz I have to wash mines often cuz of gel makes flakes but I stopped and if I do wash it I use conditioner not shampoo

I have to wash mine every day if I want to wear it down, some people can get two or three days out of a wash. If your hair is dry you could try wearing it up the second day, that's what I do.

It may be bad but when I style my hair with extensions, I wash it 3-4 times a week. When I wear it natural (curly without extensions) I wash it every day. My hair gets terribly greasy by the second day so I really have no choice. It all depends what works for you. But cold water is definitely better for your hair.

Washing you hair in cold is definitely better than hot, but for me right when I'm done I use Luke warm water to rinse my hair and it helps with frizz.

Always shampoo with warm water, rinse with warm water and apply conditioner so that it is absorbed properly into the hair and then rinse out the conditioner with cold water so that the moisture is sealed in. Avoid shampooing everyday. Try using dry shampoo if you feel that your hair is too greasy or dirty. :)

Personally, I take hot showers. Why? Because that way when I use my deep conditioner, the cuticles are open and accepting to the most amount of product. I do, however, rinse with cold water, because that seals in all the moisture that I put in with the deep conditioner. It's definitely not the best for your hair (or your skin) to wash entirely in scalding hot water, but if it works for you, then it works.

Hot water isent good for your hair or your skin. it also fades color faster. its a a little diffrent when your deep conditioning though. you should add some heat from a blow dryer, hot towel or heating cap.

I have very dry course hair & I find that washing my hair in warm & then hitting it with just a tad warmer water to open my cubicle before I put on my conditioner to help my hair absorb the moisture & then rinsing it with warm water & hitting it @ the end with as cold of water as I can stand to close the cuticle back works best for me! Its terrible to wash your hair in very hot water though no matter what hair type & texture you have! As Isabel said, very hot water CAN give you heat damage just like any heat styling tool can do! With dry hair its also best to only wash it @ the most 3x a week or you'll strip all the moisture you put in it with product & your hairs natural oils right out!
