I have sensitive skin and it's not generally oily - its quite dry! I use soap-free cleanser and moisturiser and I'm taking Doxycyline Monohydrate for my mild acne. What are some other ways I can help clear my skin? I use hypoallergenic makeup currently.

I recommend you talk to a dermatologist and take accutane/roaccutane/ororatane, it's the same thing but its called different names! It's amazing I'm currently in the treatment process! It takes about 6 months. At first it gets worse, but then it gets better! It's perfect. It'll dry out your skin so why not get sun sense moisturizer because spf is important! Simple cetaphil or nonsoap cleanser is fine! While on this medication you are also free to use any makeup although there will be some redness at the start of treatment.

My Mum took Roaccutane when she was younger and she told me that there are many side effects due to Roaccutane. She did say that Roaccutane was helpful and did its job. I do think I should see a dermatologist, they will have a professional opinion and help me :) Thanks so much for your reply!

Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit! I use the body wash but on my face, just because its a little stronger than the face wash.

My skin is extremely sensitive & I've been told to stick to soap-free washes for now :p I have tried the Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit face wash and I didn't find it that effective.

Accutane and Benzoyl Peroxide are going to be wayyy overkill if you only have mild acne, especially if you're already taking meds for it. Because you already have a cleanser and moisturizer, just add in a pimple treatment with Saly. Acid 1% for your face before moisturizing and a spot treatment when needed! :)

get some tea tree oil. an ounce bottle will last months too. 3-4 drops on damp skin. fights bacteria. I am an esthetician, also have mild breakouts and I use it daily. I find it more cost effective than spot treatments

I use Aveeno clear complexion foaming cleanser and it really works great. It oil and soap free, also hypoallergenic. That or tea tree oil like Laura said. A little bottle will last a long time.

....................... ACCUTANE is different for everyone, even if you have no side effects it is still terrible for your body. I also had mild acne, what cleared my acne was the following:
- No drinking cows/animal milk
- Eating Healthy
- Working out 4-6 times a week
- NOT TOUCHING MY FACE
- Weekly nose strips and natural face masks. I like the ones from lush
- Sulfate, Parabean, alcohol free daily face cleansers
-St Ives green tea facial scrub
- Taking off my make up every night no matter what
- washing my hands before washing my face/moisturizing
- Burt's bees willow bark+tea tree oil spot treatment
-clay mask to put on top of my spot treatment
.... Yeah it takes time, effort and consistency to have nice skin if you naturally have quite the opposite but I feel 10000 times happier not worrying about my skin anymore.

I went to the doctors the other week and I was prescribed Duac, and it works so well! It's only been a week or two but I can already see results! I use Duac with soap-free cleansers and moisturisers :D yay!
