Awhile ago I bought some pressed powder foundation, it was perfect for my needs.
But I just learned that it contains talc, mica and titanium dioxide. Which have all been attributed to lung cancer and tumors when inhaled often...
I'm really new to foundation, and I'm not really sure about anything...Even then though, will it ruin my skin? I wore it often and I never broke out... What should I do? Stop using it? I Cant afford getting other brands...

I had the exact same scare when I realised that nearly all of my powders contained talc and mica:/ even though I'm not a massive fan of cream products it turned to them instead as a matte liquid foundation which I was recommended by a friend:)

Anything can lead to cancer: mobile phones, microwaves and even diet coke... I wouldnt worry too much about it. it's only harmfull when you inhale insanely high amounts of the products which you mentioned. otherwise it wouldnt be legal to use it in make up..

I agree with Mairead...for it to cause damage you would have to inhale massive amounts of it. If it caused you zero issues in past there should be no reason for you to discontinue use. There is just way too many other things in our environment and diet that are more worrisome.

To the best of my knowledge, studies are inconclusive...Another urban legend like deodorant causing cancer years ago.
