Difference between BB and CC cream?

I'm kinda confused on the CC cream and BB cream. Which one do you prefer?

BB=blemish balm, CC=color corrector. I use the Urban Decay BB Cream sometimes, it's not really much of anything though.

Personally I like CC Cream, but I have uneven skin tone. It all depends on what your skin needs. BB cream is like a lightweight foundation and CC cream is like concealer.
