Title says it all. What steps should I take, what products to use. Is there a good inexpensive system I can use to get a clear and smooth face? I have combination skin, terrible chronic blackhead on my nose and tiny itty bitty under the skin, hard type bumps on my forehead and chin.

Omg! I am the same way. I have a clarisonic and I love it! it is sort of expensive. but is my holy grail. there are all different kinds of heads to it but the acne is the best. also, you can use any face wash on it which is great. they have a Daily cleansing wash that comes with it but they also have an acne facial wash. which is what I use. most things take a month+ to work. but this works in a week. I used to use that but then I moved and lost my wash, which is terrible, so now I use the loreal go 360 clean anti-breakout facial cleanser and it's really good. but I prefer my other one I lost. because this doesn't work very well on blackheads. I hope this helps!

Those tiny hard bumps under the skin are called milia I think , what products are you using at the moment? They could either be to harsh and are stripping your skin , making your skin go into overload and produce more oil ,use something gentler , also exfoliate your skin more and make sure there is no makeup left on your face and that it is clean and moisturised before bed as your skin does all it's healing at night xx

I'm using some neutrogena products. Um an exfoliant from them and some kind of medicated face wash. I know I need new products I just don't know what to get.

Clarisonic for sure! Also try using Lush Cosmetics Toner and make sure you wash twice a day (I use cerave hydrating cleanser) and always use a moisturizer (cerave moisturizing lotion). And I only use my clarisonic at night time. Also Lush has 'grease lightning' that is wonderful for getting rid of blemishes
