Buy a thinner from Sally's or Amazon.com. DON't USE NAIL POLISH REMOVER. It'll work in the short term, but in the long term it will destroy your polish, the chemicals in the two aren't meant to mix.

Agree :) But some polishes can't take the nail polish remover, so there are a risk that it will ruin the polish.
It only happened to me once, but thought you should know! I still do it cos the polish is ruined anyway then it gets thick!

This is why you should be careful and instead buy a super cheap polish thinner.

I think it should be fine if you add nail polish remover in it. By the time it gets thick the nail polish is almost done anyways:)

Nail polish remover will ruin the nail polish over time. how do you think it takes off your nail polish? it's better to buy a nail polish thinner specifically for this purpose. you can buy it online or in a beauty supply store.
