Dry skin due to Accutane!

On Accutane from almost 2 weeks, my skin feels super dry from today morning. please tell me what the detailed name of cetaphil.
also tell me if there is any substitute for it. Thanks

I used Aqueous cream while I was on Accutane and I never struggled with dry skin :) I definitely recommend it! You can also mix a tiny bit of tissue oil with your regular moisturizer as an alternative.

Get a strong moisturizer... Not a regular one. CeraVe is amazing for dry skin and I see it all ver Doctors offices. Use a cream form since they absorb more than lotion. You can also add oils to SEAL in moisture like coconut oil or vitamin e oil, you can also try Cocoa Butter or Shea Butter too. If your skin is dry you should be moisturizing it at least four times a day and drinking plenty of water ❤

You can use argan oil and then cetaphil or cerave spf moisturizer in the daytime and aquaphor for your lips because they will be dry also then at night argan oil and cetaphil or cerave moisturizer with no spf you must use spf in the daytime because you can burn easily

I have take 3 courses of Accutane so I feel your pain! The ONLY thing that works is the Cetaphil moisture cream, not the moisturizer as it was not effective. The one that's in a tub, not a pump. It is non-comedogenic so I gave it a shot and it helped so much. You have to make sure anything you use is oil free or non-comedogenic or it will trigger breakouts. The Cetaphil stopped the awful peeling and flaking too so I could at least wear foundation.

When I was on Accutane I used coconut oil before bed every night and it really helped me.
