Find inspiration from places things an people that are looked past. If you aren't a sincere caring and a truly passionate artist then it will reflect in your work and within your clientele. I never try to make myself stand out.. People see past that facade eventually.

Networking is essential to what we do. If you want to bring your success to the next level and separate yourself from other artists working in your area you have to meet the people that can mentor you, support you, hire you and inspire you constantly. Start meet up groups in your area to share ideas and support, attend events like The Makeup Show, go to free seminars at Department stores and MAC counters, meet photographers and models and test with them, ask the boutique owners in your area to allow you to shoot for them...You have got to build your network to build your possibility of being hired
