So my nails chip off cause input a lot in nail polish on them but I stopped but my nails still chip off! Like a thin layer on the top chips off and it looks horrible and it's irritating (I don't bite my nails)

I used to use a clear nail polish treatment with green tea for this problem and now my nails are super strong and healthy. I also take biotin pills and they help a lot.

- Use a base coat that doesn,t chip or a nail treatment which can be used as a base ( I found them more resistant that common base polishes)
- if your nails are peeling buff them
- appy two thin coats of polish instead of one thick
- wait for base and first coat to dry completely or at least 10 minutes each
- cover the tips with polish too
- sometimes it happens because of the polish quality
- don,t open thing with nails or on keyboard
I guedd that,s all:-)

Many times the peeling is caused by moisture. If you wear polish for long periods or keep applying it frequently, it traps moisture against the nail. Submerging your hands in water frequently (washing hands, scrubbing dishes) will also cause chipping.

Try to use a clear coat that will seal the nail, and if they aren't getting better, cut them short and start over.
