Yes it really works on my hair..
I got so very dry hair previously but when I use honey and I let it sit for 30 mins. my super dry hair turns into a smooth and shiny hair and my hair color turns brighter no need to buy expensive products just to have a beautiful hair..Go Natural!.. thanks to honey.. :)

knew it was a tip worth sharing :)
Sadie S. when did you have your treatment? during the first few months of keratin treatment you're suppose to use specific keratin friendly shampoo/conditioners etc and i would not recommend modifying it in anyway..besides honey is slightly acidic and therefore will change the ph level of your hair which can be a problem for keratin treated hairs.
on the other hand, for those who have colors or highlights honey would bring the brightest shine ever!

I use not with my regular conditioner, but for my deep treatments. I add honey (1tsp), evoo (1tbsp), and small amount of shea (dime sized) melt and mix with my conditioner to do a deep treatment. Honey is amazing it's a humectant so really good for dry hair. I'm a 4a and it has help with oisturizing and has given me the shiniest, well defined curls for my wash and goes.

honey is not a whitening agent...it has some sort of bleaching affect yes but only 1 or 2 tea-spoon of honey (mixed with conditioner none the less) will not be enough to change the color of dark hair (black)..because of the added shine the lighter shades (blonde) will look brighter :)

Linda P. glad you liked it :)
Madison D. Any kind of edible honey would do...try to get it organic :)
By the way shine and softness is not only in the outside, honey is a natural humectant so it will help to moisturize your hair ( the same a glycerin and oil can trap water on skin/hair, honey does that without the grease and buildup) so with time it will improve the condition of your hair and prevent damages. i've been using it for a month now and can totally see the difference.
