With red lips I do just a cat eye ( like only eyeliner) and I may sometimes add very minimal neutral toned eyeshadow because you want the focus to be on your lips. for an outfit you can wear anything: black, neutral tones, etc.
I like to wear red nailpolish when I wear red lips:)

Ladies, you all look HOT rockin' those red lippies!! I always go for a winged eye when wearing a red lippie or sometimes I go for a chocolate brown smoky eye using my kohl pencil, matte eyeshadow and a lighter shade to fade up to my brow area. And I keep the blush very light and neutral. Clothes wise...I love pairing it with my boyfriend jeans, my ballet flats, fitted v-neck tee, my stacked sterling silver bracelets and big narrow silver hoop earrings. If I feel like going for the Sade look I'll put my hair up in a high ponytail or old school Jody Watley...curls wild and a side part so half of my hair is covering my face.

I normally do a neutral eye with a bright inner corner and a really warm complexion, I think bronze blushes look awesome with red lips. Day to day I don't go heavy on my eye makeup when doing a red lip because I mostly just don't have the time to make it look good lol, but for a night look I'd do dramatic eyes and lips. :)
